Simon Sadler is Professor of Design at University of California, Davis, and Affiliated Faculty with the Graduate Programs in Cultural Studies, Art History, and the Environmental Humanities Supercluster. He is the author of The Situationist City (MIT Press, 1998) and Archigram: Architecture without Architecture (MIT Press, 2005), and co-editor of Non-Plan: Essays on Freedom, Participation and Change in Modern Architecture and Urbanism (Architectural Press, 2000).
Jennifer Gabrys is Reader in Sociology at Goldsmiths, University of London, and Principal Investigator on the European Research Council funded project, Citizen Sense. She is the author of Digital Rubbish: A Natural History of Electronics (University of Michigan Press, 2011) and Program Earth: Environmental Sensing Technology and the Making of a Computational Planet (University of Minnesota Press, 2016), and the co-editor of Accumulation: The Material Politics of Plastic (Routledge, 2013). She was previously Convenor of the MA in Design and Environment in the Department of Design at Goldsmiths.
Peder Anker is Associate Professor of History of Science at New York University and Adjunct Professor of Environmental History at the University of Oslo. He is the author of From Bauhaus to Ecohouse: A History of Ecological Design (Louisiana State University Press, 2010) and Imperial Ecology: Environmental Order of the British Empire, 1895-1945 (Harvard University Press, 2001), and co-author of Global Design: Elsewhere Envisioned (Prestel, 2014).
